Dear Dr. D'Cruz,

I am currently in India in the city of Jaipur. You can reach me at 0-999-975-2036. Please call after 10 AM.

Normally I prefer electronics communication over phone since it is so easy to refer back to what was discussed and when. Of course, phone conversation has its own value and I look forward to talking to you. Thanks.

Sincerely,

Ajay K. Kulshreshtha

Subject:  Possible Collaboration on Gentle Electrotherapy for Cancer (targeting enzyme RR)
From:  ajay@kulsh.com

Dear Dr. D'Cruz,

Gentle Electrotherapy for cancer is deductively scientific and has shown remarkable efficacy with animal models (see enclosed article), as well as with a few human subjects who have been treated by my device. It is also non-toxic.

In my proposed collaboration, this therapy would be offered at TMC to patients with near-surface tumors:
1. whose tumors have stopped responding to chemo and radiotherapies.
2. who are too old to endure chemo or radiotherapies.
3. whose tumors, because of their location, are unsuited to be treated by any of the conventional treatments.

By the way, the cost of this treatment will be less than that of other therapies.

You likely have many questions for me. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

Sincerely,

Ajay K.

Dear Dr. D'Cruz,

The similarity between Gentle Electrotherapy to Inhibit Pivotal Enzyme (sometimes called GEIPE) and Electroporation is minimal. Both involve electricity but modalities and objectives are quite different. As I understand it, in Electroporation, short-and-intense electric pulses are used to deliver drugs or genes into the cell. While in GEIPE, we use low voltage (less than 7V) to pass direct current in milli-ampere range thru tissue over a long period; no drug is involved.

CDA or Clinical Document Architecture has various implementations or formats. Please send me guidelines (Titles and sub-titles, if any, of various sections) for the CDA that is standard at TMC. I will complete the CDA and send protocol details of the Gentle Electrotherapy for cancer.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Ajay K.

Dear Dr. D'Cruz,

I have not heard from you in many days. I understand you have a busy schedule but may I expect a response sometimes this week?

Just to reiterate the importance of enzyme Ribonucleotide Reductase, there are 4 classes of anti-cancer chemo drugs that fall in the family of "Ribonucleotide Reductase Inhibitors":

-- motexafin gadolinium
-- hydroxyurea
-- fludarabine, cladribine, gemcitabine, tezacitabine, and triapine
-- gallium maltolate, gallium nitrate

My proposed electrotherapy inhibits this enzyme without any toxic side-effects.

I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

i don't think i recd your last mail and hence no reply
Your concept sounds interesting
I look forward to discussing with you the possibility of taking this to the next step
Which cancers do you envisage will benefit the most of this treatment
Would you like to work this out in a trial setting

Do let me know

Dear Dr. D'Cruz,

GEIPE therapy is most suited for tumors which are at or near -- within a few centimeters -- of the surface. Thus most cancers in facial area, including those inside the mouth, should be suitable. (All 4 treated
patients whose photos I included with the letter had such tumors.)

Yes, this therapy needs to be systematically studied in a trial setting. I can fill the details of the proposal once you provide me the guidelines. Thanks.

Dear Dr. D'Cruz,

Enclosed please find a 2-page proposal for GEIPE clinical trials. It is a bit more than a synopsis and you can trim it as you see fit.

I look forward to hearing from you after you are back in town and present the proposal to your DMG. Thanks.
